The closing meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Back to Green: Initiative to Engage Youth to Environmental Responsibilities” (2022-1-TR01-KA220-YOU-000089079), coordinated by Artvin Çoruh University and aimed at raising young people’s awareness of environmental responsibility, was held in Artvin with the participation of international project partners. Over the course of two days, the project’s journey from its inception to its current stage was comprehensively reviewed. Partners from different countries shared the outputs of various activities, including eco-friendly educational materials, youth workshops, digital tools, and fieldwork, highlighting the awareness created and the successes achieved throughout the project. One of the most meaningful moments of the meeting was the presentation of participation certificates by Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydın, Rector of Artvin Çoruh University. This symbolic gesture was warmly welcomed by all participants. In the final session, participants outlined the roadmap for the final report and sustainable project outputs, while also reflecting on the knowledge and experiences gained. They emphasized that “Back to Green” is not only a project but also a green legacy for the future, underscoring the importance of encouraging young people to take a more active role in environmental responsibility.
